Jambo, a silverback gorilla at Jersey zoo in 1974. Made famous for caring for a boy who fell into his enclosure in 1986. I was standing on the roof of the enclosure not open to the public. He became a little upset, possibly mistaking the long lens as a tranquilizer gun. Photographed with the help of Jersey Zoo.
